Why not go a modern Turbo Diesel engine and have the best of both worlds. Old school looks and modern grunt?

Many many moons ago (20ish years) I stumbled across this in the deserts in the outskirts of Flagstaff, Arizona. From memory he was adding a Supercharger.

Ever since seeing a Model A 4x4 hot rodded tray back truck on Fraser  once, and having kids I reckoned a 4x4 dual cab version would be cool .
