Love it , thanks KB

Check out some of his earlier stuff. Good Vibes is real good and I think his first cd was The Harmonica Man. The man has some serious talent.
With enough horse power, sheer ignorance and a total lack of respect for your vehicle, you'll get through....

Yeah , was raving about him to my twenty year old who plays guitar and a bit of harp and he knew all about him and is going to load the iphone or ipod with some tunes for me. He looks like a mate of ours who passed away a few years back at 48 which spun the wife out a bit too.
Thanks

Gone to a new home

Steffo1

My first albums were  Hawkwind, Gentle Giant, King Crimson, Zappa & a lot of Blues.  Howl me down but, in my opinion, The Eagles, America, Crosby, Stills & that genre played to a "conditioned" musical populace, albeit very well.
Steve

p.s. don't mind Joan Baez although she's nearly stereotyped

Country hat on today.

James Blundell - Hand It Down from 1990.

If I had to pick my favourite country CD ....this is the one ( closely followed by Lee Kernaghan's Hat Town from 1997 )....no filler tracks on this one....all good....in my opinion.

Cheers

Gotta agree about Eagles, America etc.. basically they were pop musicians. I still didn't mind them though. I loved Mayall, Yardbirds, Cream, Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac (in the early days when they played blues), Janis and Jimi, Stones... didn't really listen to much Zappa... Joan Beaz, I've been listening to a fair bit lately, and one thing that always gets me is her voice...

Good taste Troopy.
60's and 70's had the best music. Ledendary guitarists were the norm.
Theres a few today but not in the same quantities.
Hey Archer, not the biggest country fan, but theres a few I dont mind. Try The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, their pretty cool.

Was a time many years ago that Led Zep 2,3 & 4 were my favourites.

3 was recorded in Jimmy's home studio ( I think ? ) and the sound quality was Shit. I remember being so amazed ( and naive ) that I bought another new album thinking that I must have got a dud...but it was the same !!
CD cleaned the recording up a bit though.
