Wow! Just imagine stumbling across this treasure-trove in a barn somewhere in the outback.

I'd be like a kid in a candy shop. :cup:

Out in the bush all over Australia there would be lots of sheds with toys in them .  Might not be as big or as valuable but toys never the less . l know is a few cashes of stuff that still should be persevered , sadly they are in some cases rusting away . The Old Mate that cant bear to part with them so they sit waiting for the garage sale after he passes

lt would really blow your mind if you knew what was out there  . Some years ago in St Kilda Melbourne a deceased estate asked a handyman to clean out the garage of broken furniture & old mattresses  . Take it all to the tip was the orders . Some hour5s later he returned to enquire about the car , was that to go too  ??? ???  An early 1900 Rolls Royce still on blocks as it had been left many years ago .
l personably had to open a garage that had a mid 60s Rambler  V8 under a blanket in mint condition . A splash of fresh fuel & a jump start & away it went & is still running today . lts out there as long as you can find out there .     :cup:

My FIL's shed looks similar to the one in the pic but bigger. It has a few FJ Holden sedans utes and PV's, FX, FC, FB, EK, EJ, EH. HR and S series Valiant. Al, were drivable when parked in the shed over the last 30 odd years.

There's four little LJ/LC's sitting in long grass in Brisbane around the corner from where I used to live. A pair of four door cars and a pair of two door cars. The owner won't part with them, going to do them up. 10 years ago they were salvageable, now are nothing but scrap.

Yeah , I was talking to the FIL's mate who lives in Eskdale ( Vic ) . He has a family farm and they had a bit of a gully just behind their house. Anyway over the years any car that stopped running or was made redundant went into the gully and they eventually covered it over. He was talking old Dodge utes and even a gearstick Harley or two. I often wonder whether they would be totally gone or good for parts especially if windows were up.

It is sad. A few weeks ago I looked at a 52 Hudson that an old fella was selling. Had purchased it 35 years ago and it's sat in an old shed since. When I heard about, obviously I was real keen. When I saw it, it was stuffed. He had covered it in old blankets, it sweated and is now stuffed.

(In saying that, I have an EH sitting at home quietly rusting away.  >:(  )

Yep that went reallllllly Well . We could replace the car with a Jeep . Solve two problems
1 At least we got rid of another Jeep left to Rust in Peace
2 Maybe the oil dripping out of it will be contained in the hole
