Morning all.

We want to go camping from 4th to 10th Jan, in Victoria.

We haven't booked anywhere so I know its a big ask but can anyone suggest somewhere thats not too long of a drive from my place (Cockatoo), that doesn't require a booking and might be reasonably quiet (free would be good).  Prefer being able to take dogs.

Thanks

Vicki

Hi Vicki,
we haven't booked or picked a spot yet either but thinking we'll head up to the back of Mt Buffalo again like last year from the 29th to the 7th. Have same challenge of finding somewhere quiet but where we can take the scottie terror so just outside the Nat park.
Happy to stay in touch if you can't find anywhere else.  Spot will be picked when we get there and could let you know.

If you search Buffalo River State Park, my trip thread from last year should come up.

Someone has suggested Silverton. I will google later

Looks nice Scarps.  I just googled Silverton and its a 10 hour drive.  I wouldn't mind that if it was for a couple of weeks but for a few days, I think its a bit far.

Pink Lakes in the Murray-Sunset nat park or closer to you Lake Albacutya on the Melbourne side of the Wyperfield nat park ?
