Get a grip people, lighten up, this should be a fun thread, not a "them and us" or "mines better than yours". :police:
For those dishing out the nasties, if you can't say something nice, don't say anything  :-[ :-[

I suppose when we are old like you.. time is irrelevant  >:D

I guess with flexible rostering, individual work contracts or favourable employers, those that wish to start early could and those that wish to work later could be allowed to.  People could have their own daylight savings if they wanted too.

They argued that the cows were having trouble.
What about the cows in Europe? They don't complain.  ;D
Then they said that there was more hours in a day, as the sun was shining longer
What.........? I thought there was only 24 hours in a day.

During the afore mentioned WA trial, I heard the only decent argument AGAINST daylight saving, that I've ever heard.

The Scene  Talk back radio, on the topic of, wait for it..... Daylight Saving Time.

Names changed to protect the innocent:  Beryl is a 60+ year old granny.

My name's Beryl, and I hate this daylight savings time, coz my husband Bert, he gets a morning glory, and I quite like it.  But now he gets it on the bus to work!

That time again for the normal people  ;D ;D ;D

Those in NSW, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and the ACT will have to turn their clock forward by one hour at 2am on Sunday, October 6.

I'm surprised that the Franklin Mint isn't all over this.

"THE OFFICIAL AUSTRALIAN DAYLIGHT SAVING CLOCK"

" This technically advanced timepiece was extensively trialled in Europe over the last two winters."
"Buy before  October 6 and receive, at no extra charge, a matching Eastern Standard Time Clock. Be quick, as this offer won't last."

I reckon they'd sell a couple of hundred thousand or more to the enlightened  southern residents!
