Who has an Engel MR40F?

Hi Swaggers, i am looking to buy an Engel MR40F as a present for someone and was wondering if anyone out there has one and whether they are reliable ?

I've had one for a couple of years now and it is a brilliant fridge, they have the same internals as there metal brothers. I got mine form BCF at the price in the link you have put up and for my way of thinking $699 for an Engel product is bloody good buying

ok Cool Axl, i have the older Steel bodied ones and have no problem with them and just thought i'd ask in here to be sure of the plastic style before purchasing.

I am pretty sure Speewa has a couple of these and he tests his fridges out pretty hard with the restocking of green cans, and some food at times

Bought mine in 1984, Going like the powers of, (great anyway) never missed a beat and has bounced around all over the country side. Just gotta keep ill minded people from sitting on the lid, That sh!ts me no end. (Rant over). cheers Ron.

Yep. Got mine at the big Brissie camping show this year to keep in cruiser. Going really well. I love it

l too run two . l have had them since they 1st came on the market , to replace an ageing unit about the same size .
When traveling 1 is a chiller for the other as a bit cooler  for meat & stuff . lf you can get it at that $ go for 2 . Enjoy
