Kings Creek Station 2.5 weeks ago

Luckily we didn't need a whole tank of diesel.

And just down the road at the resort the unleaded was 22c per L cheaper, so you can guess where I filled up!

Yep,  darwin at it's best.
98 is now 2.o2.98 per litre. BP is the only one that sells it up here so you pay for the Privelidge.

You know you are getting screwed when fuel is cheaper down the track than in Darwin.
it's not just Darwin that happens at...you can always buy diesel cheaper at both Aratula and Kybong then you can get it in Brisbane. Aratula is an hour West from my place out near Cunninghams Gap, and Kybong is 2 hours North just before Gympie, both places always cheaper by about 4 cents a litre.

Try this then.... Overseas companies investing in Australia get some sort of rebate from, you guessed it, the Government..... So down the road at Kings Canyon Resort - Shell and an overseas company at the Resort..... Govt rebate applies.   38 km away - Family owned business... aussies through and through ....no rebate... so cost is reflective of what it costs to bring the fuel here  (same as Curtain Springs).....not a great profit margin at all actually.
Cheers.
