there was a heap of Independents to vote for on the white ballot form instead of throwing votes at the loonies..
my issue with that is you end up with some flog with no real idea what he is doing there with a controlling vote on things - yea that is sort of the idea, but that can be more dangerous.

I just wanna know how this country got into such a bad situation with Shit parties, and Shit candidates full of self importance and no "genuine" concern for all aussies, not just certain groups

it’s hardly like these clowns in the major parties have a clue what they are doing, so how is voting Independent any different?...the major party tossers are busy undermining each other and feathering thier own nests, atleast an Independent might be there for the right reason

fair call... but I'd be happier with another box that said "none of you deserve my vote"

Can't argue, but when 75% of the population do exactly that, whose left running the place ???

You'd likely finish up like Brexit - only a tiny (in comparison) number voted & they all said Yes, while the majority thought No, but didn't bother voting as they "knew" the yes vote would never get up >:D

Just finished putting 2 coast of white solarguard on 90x90 5x 2.4, 90x45 2x 3.0, 1x 3.6 threaded pine H4.
This is for a job on Tuesday.
A trellis for a climbing plant, using S/Steel wire 200mm apart.
Beer time now.

Hairs, did you use threaded pine to make it easier for the plant to climb the trellis?

Hairs, did you use threaded pine to make it easier for the plant to climb the trellis?
The treaded pine is the frame only
Using S/steel wire between the posts, 5 wires(just line veranda balistrading) 200mm spacings for the plant to climb. Being a wooded plant, it will carry it's own weight when established.
2 panels,
1/3.400
1/6.000(with a post in the middle)
The 90x45 is for the top of the posts to make a box/frame.
This is structure is for the plant to climb and hide a colourbond fence 1800 high.
I'll post pics when finished.

I quoted this job four times, using different materials,
It's a total build of $900 now.
Of cause this is the cheapest option,
Materials are a big cost, but unfortunately some don't realise this, it still cost about the same in labour.
