Ozhitch with Level Riders (weight Distribution)
« on: April 12, 2014, 01:08:54 PM »
Hi all, for those with swing rear doors that have trouble with the door clearance on a hayman reece weight distribution bars, you can get a ozhitch to fit these bars.

Door clears the hitch easy now but I will need to put a bend in the handbrake so it sits lower.

Punch the pin out that is stopping the hand brake going right down. That should solve the problem of bending it.

Yeh, I will look at that, a mate just offered to bring me home some solid alloy spacers to drop the height but if the cable has enough range your idea might work and is easier.
Cheers

I did this with my Track Tvan..
It looks like the same sort of hand brake lever.
Theres a roll-pin through the ratchet edged mounting plate.
It's better to take the lever out if you have the time.
But it is possible to push it out 'in situ.'.
