Hi All, Has anyone had their Blackvue develop the 'No SD card' or 'Format SD card' problem? my Blackvue 650 2 ch keeps making these announcements. I have tried a couple of solutions from the google searches but haven't come up with a permanent fix yet and have gone through 3 sd cards that the dashcam wont accept. Any suggestions on a fix would be great.

No currently not a blackvue card. My original Blackvue card died pretty early after I got the cam 2-3 years ago. I have been using Samsung extreme cards. It started playing up a bout 2 months ago and i have tried a new samsung card, a Toshiba card and a sandisk card. it works for about half an hour then comes up with card errors. Will contact blackvue .

Although he didn't say how regularly!!
I will start with monthly!

I've heard they're pretty good, also the Viofo are meant to be really good bang for buck, Keith...

We've got a few Xiaomi products, and they're all excellent

Used mine for the first yesterday.
Works a treat for the coin I paid.
Good equality vid, pretty easy to setup, I like that through the app you can access all the features without to much trouble.
Ahahaha,
They don't tell you in the instructions to pull the black protective stick on thing off the lense
Took me a bit to figure out why it was showing a black screen

looking at adding a Dash Cam to the Patrol, so many to choose from.

Anyone use the Thinkware TW-F770 or  BlackVue DR900S-2CH. They looks neat and compact.

thinking the BlackVue DR900S-2CH may be the best option.

I had this issue, and only had to remove the SD card from the dashcam and re-format it in the PC.

You need to understand SD cards aint always SD cards and hungry dash cams run best on high endurance cards explained here-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QAF2flNsVc
It's false economy to buy lesser cards as your cam will run hotter and give you error messages as well as dying a lot sooner.
You should reformat them in your camera every month or two to keep them running sweet and my Viofo even has a reminder setting function for just that purpose. Your Blackvue probably does too.
There's no Great Evil conspiracy against consumers within engineering, manufacturing and supply. Just the many tradeoffs incurred to satisfy diverse tastes, priorities and wallets. But first comes all the insatiable Gummint eggsperts, nanny-staters and usual suspects.

For those in the market eBay are having a 20% off sale with a bunch of participating stores.

As an example here is a link posted previously - original price was $74.99 but with the sale it's now $59.99.

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/132753334982?ul_noapp=true

There would be plenty of other brands & models available so go have a look - the discount code is PSLEIGH

Here's a link to the full list of online stores with the 20% discount:

https://pages.ebay.com.au/Buyer_coupons/psleigh/

Sale expires 11:59pm 15 November
