Adding Avatars to your profile.
« on: June 02, 2010, 09:09:38 PM »
With the amount of request for add Avatars lately I have made some changes.

I still dont completely trust that security issue is completely fixed but I will give it a try and think I have come up with away around it.

The permission to add your own Avatar will come in affect once you reach 25 posts which is called "Sleeping Bag User - Trusted" and all users with >25 posts will have the permission as well.

So hopefully this will keep any undesirables away and give you guys Avatars back.

Avatar size limit is 120x80

It may inrease the number of "useless" posts like this one by people who are trying to get to the magic 25! ;D

I wonder what the poor people are doing?

That maybe true but wouldn't it be better if they asked a question in the Tech section or welcomed another new member in the Intro section or tell us about a recent trip they have been on. This way they participate positively in the forum.  8)

If someone just spam posts to reach 25 with find those post deleted and makes a bad 1st impression on the forum.

Steve, you want to try sitting around a campfire with Speewa. A three dimensional light and sound show spinout is our Speewa. ;D ;D
