 Hi Guys,

New here also, and from the Gold Coast. Picked up our new EMU camper on Monday and are very happy with it. Due to weather we are planning to head out next weekend for the first time!

Any recommendation for good sites with plenty of space? I am thinking something like Lake Moogerah? any ideas would be great. We have young family.

Jamie

Welcome to the forum.  Congrats on the CT purchase.

Here is a list of some of the camping locations on the southern Darling Downs.

Warwick is about 2 hours from the Brisbane CBD.   Stanthorpe area another 40 minutes.  The Darling Downs is generally a few degrees cooler than below the range so if coming in winter bring some warm clothes.

It is exciting getting the new camper. Moogerah is a nice little spot. Where bouts on the coast are you. Good to see a few from the coast on here. Enjoy your trip when the weather clears that is :)

Cheers Marty
