Tambo camper trailers
« on: August 21, 2013, 10:01:41 PM »
Hi everyone just thought I would introduce myself,

My name is Ian I have been speaking to Keith from Tambo and we have been discussing bringing Tambo back,

Although Keith will not be physically apart of this, I and the new Tambo team have Keith's full support.

As we want to keep the high quality and standards we will be using all the same quality Australian made products.

If anyone can help, I was also hopeing that there was someone with a Omeo camper that I could utilise to get some of the finer detailes to make sure we dont miss a thing on the new display one we are building, if so please contact Ian on 0422 262 544

Tambo Camper Trailers will be offical opening in the coming month's.

kind regards

Tambo Camper Trailers Team

(I suppose the interest that this thread will generate, it will be moved to another section of the forum - a Tambo resurrection thread.)

Hi Cooper XT (Ian)

Is this a new company, with a new ABN etc or is it the existing, still  registered, Tambo Pty Ltd company (Corbett Family Trust)

The entity that you are involved with, is it undertaking existing Tambo Pty Ltd warranty matters.

Very nice campers - but I'm biased.

Great work Ian, as a former tambo owner I was sad to see the end of tambo. I always thought some one like you would come along and continue the tambo name. All the better with Keith's blessing.

I just remembered to mention this happy news to my wife. She reminded me that she's keen to get the front room - not the awning, but the draw bar side (we have all the zips etc in place). Will you be using the same canvas supplier as in the past? Will we be able to order accessories such as this to fit our existing campers?
Matt.

Hi Ian

This is absolutely fantastic news. I bought the very last Marlo just before Keith and Amanda said farewell. Since then Jeff has done an awesome job helping me out with extra canvas walls and replacement dust cover. A couple of questions for you; Will Tambo be opening at the same premises in Wantirna? Will you be offering the Cooper and Marlo?

Thanks in advance
Stew

Just back from 3 months traveling to the West and have dropped our Omeo off to Ian at the new Tambo for some repair work to the canvas and boat rack and a service. Great meeting Ian yesterday and good luck with the new business.
