I'm testing the new esky.

Using some frozen salt water and other home made ice bricks, packed it full of beer and coke and threw the thermo in to suss it out. Most of the drinks went in cold, but i did throw in a six pack that was warm.
We're gunna open it 10 or 15 times a day to try to get a true reading.
As we keep the esky in the tent itself when camping, i've put it in the garage, hoping that bit of temp from parking the car in there will be compatable... maybe....

Within 1/2 an hour, recording -4 degrees.

Lets see if it really does 10 to 15 days huh.

Are you sure it was frozen salt water, and not frozen tear drops from all that money you missed out on..... >:D

If your looking for a chance to blow the cobwebs off there are some old men heading to the high country next weekend.

didn't do anything inside my shed, but i did start to clad the outside of it some more today. been dragging this project out for ages, hopefully i'll finish it over the long weekend (well complete the cladding atleast, some flashings will need ordering after that) and then the camper trailer will have a new home that i can reverse it back into without the need for.... disconnecting, pushing, turning 90 degrees, and pushing somemore...lol
geez it's hard to get motivated to build something, when building stuff is what you do every day at work during the week

As tempting as that is I am having a 'Charlie & Boots' trip with my old man. If you've seen the movie you'll know what I mean.

Ran all the wiring through the body and connected up the harness for the new electric brakes in our 80 series. Just can't decide on a good spot to mount the head unit. It's a prodigy IQ, any ideas on a good position?

My Lumbada (son-in-law) took me out near the lake (Lake Gregory) so that I could get some decent wood, then to another spot to get some nice sharp shale, and I have started making a couple of boomerangs, well three of them.  One for a MySwag friend of mine, Fuji, and the other two for ceremonial reasons.
It made me think of Alice Springs, in a tourist shop, where they had smll boomerngs for sale.  The damn things had little stickers pn the back saying "Made in China", and the only thing you might kill with them would be insects on the side of a tree, that is if they didn't break.  I couldn't believe when the shop lady told me the boomerangs there sell quite well, just how silly must the people buying them be.
