G'day Mark, good to see you on MySwag.

You'll be pleased (but not surprised) that your old 39l hasn't missed a beat.  :cup:

Make sure you have given Autofridge a vote in the poll.  Cant have the waengelcos having it all to themselves.  ;D

Sure you would have tried this but I also thought it was a bit high so I tried it at -14 instead of -18 and can run it now it with a 150amp battery for 2.5 days. Thought i'd share. The meat etc is still frozen as are the kids ice blocks and that is all that matters  ;D

We have a 110L Waeco. It is a great fridge/freezer.
You can never go to big if you have the room I think (Does that make sense) fridge in car!!
I have two kids so on big trips I remove the single second row seat from my cruiser and put the Waeco there.
It sit on a custom made cradle bolted to the seat mounts then ratchet straps hold it to floor anchors (Don't want it coming loose).
On small trips it goes in the back behind the cargo barrier.
I had to run 6mm cable for it to work properly and I fit Clipsal 32v two pin plugs for good connection.
It does not drain the battery that fast but it does like good clean power.
It will freeze stuff you pick up on the trip and keep the coke cold to add to my rum at the end of the day.

That's what it is all about ;D

No probs Barry...  glad to hear the 39l has been going great. :D

75l is a beauty, but I have had to modify my setup in the back of the 105.  Didn't measure very accurately.  Black Widow state it won't fit, but I have squeezed it in just fine with a little tweaking of the cargo barrier position.  Saves me having to replace the whole cargo area setup... ;D

i use the engel one. they are awesome. 40l, got it put on rollers in the back of our patrol. best one i have ever had. i saw them on spider everitts tv show Great Australian Doorstep.

Blueboy

We have had a 40L Engel in the Pajero for almost 4 years now, no problems and a 50L Waeco in the Aussie Swag for 2 years, no problems there either. The BOSS reckons that she finds the Waeco more user friendly.I find that they cool the cans OK.
Regards,Ken.
