Hi Troy
I have a RC Helicopter.  Actually I bought it for one of my grandsons, he may get to use it more often if I ever stop playing with it.  It is interesting when we use it outside, as there is a hawk which constantly wants to attack it, must be a territorial thing or something.

both are battery powered so not so noisy

cheers grc

Mexico

1 short course truck (AE SC10), 2 scale crawlers (RC4WD Stomper) and soon to add 2 rock racers (Axial Wraith).

Have had plenty of others in my life. Now I get to get two of everything at the moment as the son likes to play rc cars with his dad.

Have been looking at the new rc heli's  in the US that use a lazer to shoot each other down. First hit makes your opponents chopper spin once, second hit it spins twice and third time it sends it to the ground for ten seconds before you can take off again. These are for indoor use.

Hi Snow
They sound like fun.  Any chance you could remember where to get them, I have some thoughts related to R/C Tanks and mice.

I have a Trex 600 electric heli which I can assure people IT IS NOT A TOY.  The basic helicopter cost around $500.00.  With the co-pilot ($300.00 and the Gyro sensor nearly $300.00 plus other little bits and pieces, there is well over a $1000.00 "toy" which with one false move can turn into a $1000.00 lawn dart real quick.

The 600 model means that one rotor blade is 600mm long. The total rotor span is 4 feet and the length is about 4 feet as well (just fits across the backseat of the Commodore.
Cheers Glenn

Here is a coupla pics. I have a size9 clog just to give an idea of the size. These things have the diesel engine noise and the Snow leapard has exhaust smoke as well. Good fun, though haven't had them going for while. Great for terrorising the local cats.  ;D ;D

I have lots of RC toys. I have about 12 power planes (nitro) including a twin and a 50cc gas plane. I have 3 helicopters from micro to .50 nitro. 1 sailing boat and 6 power boats (nitro and electric). About 4 cars (nitro and electric). 3 Gliders and a few other random things. Yes I have an addiction.

frenchac

I've been flying rc model planes for about 30 years.  I have about 20 planes ranging from small up to a 9 foot aerobatic plane with a 30 cc 2 stroke.  All i.c motors except for one foam electric glider which is great for throwing in the car for camping trips.

cheers

My brothers heli needs a van, 3660mm from tip to tip,250cc two stroke motor and start at over $120,000. :D
Not a toy either, used for difficult acess spraying etc Its got all sorts of tricks up its sleeve, not fast but very smart.
