New Folding Table needed
« on: January 07, 2012, 06:29:14 PM »
Ok ..... this might be a hard one.

We need a new camping table - needs to be square, would prefer the "blow moulded" plastic type, be able to sit on all four sides (ie no bars in the way to stop you from sitting at the table),have the legs fold up nice and compact and the kicker - be less than 810mm across.

This should challenge even the most savy swaggers.  Might even be a mystery prize for the winner.

FAIL - lol  ;D

this is the one we already have, its just to big to fit where i need to put it.

If anyone is lookign for a table but - it has been really good, just to big for the new storage idea

Thanks for your help anyway.

We only have a Bunnings hardware here (Warwick QLD), I wil have a look next time I am in town tho. I might even be able to look something up on my Bunnings account .... I will check itout.

Our Bunnings has the new square tables. Only purchased a rectangular blow mould table a few months ago but now want to upgrade to this one. From memory, it's about $45. Will try to get more details for you. It is very similar to a traditional card table, with a split hinge across the middle and no annoying bars to get in the way. Would be approx 1 m square when open and roughly 1m x50cm folded up. Will return with more details if someone else doesn't reply first. Paul

The first one is more than 810mm - and is the exact one we already have!  ;D lol

the second one looks promising - anyone have one of these? - would hate to pay for the postage and then not be happy with it.

Thanks for your help - new front runner?

you write that your storgage place is to small, well if Mohumad wont go to the mountain, store the old table in this.

Got 2 of them from Kmart for $20 each!

Got mine same as above from Kmart just before Xmas ..

Is there a possibility of making your own table top and use the legs/frame of the one you have ??

Cheers
