Good to see Stokes standing up, pity the rest of the English team didn't take the same attitude.

Last test we cleaned them up in the 5th day morning session, hopefully we can do the same today.

Job done, good on Boof for getting rid of the rotation policy and creating a tight knit team :cup:

The English were under direct orders from the "shared" head of state to let the Aussies win something before the nation pulls out of international sport all together...

The rugby trophy cabinet is empty, a 20 year low at the Olympics and Australia hasn't touched the ashes since 2005/6.

The dedication of the English Team to Queen & Country is commendable.
To hand over the Ashes for the good of the British Empire is above and beyond the call of duty.
At least they can now go back to flogging the Aussies in the last too matches.

Great dedication, the poms haven't taken 20 wickets in a match yet and only 1 player scoring a century in a losing team.

Keep up mate the dedication is loosing the game for Queen & Country. Imagine the embarrassment if our boys put too many runs on and the Aussies couldn't catch up. Jezz that would take some explaining. No better to be safe than sorry.

And? The Poms had them and we have now beaten them, pretty simple.

Jasen

That's true and all banter aside the Aussies deserve the win as they outplayed England in every way.

I'm back in England on Saturday, I might pop in and have a look at the little jug.
