I think the T20 has shown 12 an over is gettable for the last few overs, you just need somebody who can execute.

Come one Jasen, we know you were barracking for Old Blighty :D

I normally barrack for Australia in all sports as Australia is my home and the only exception is Rugby Union because that's my game.
For reasons unknown I decided to barrack for England this Ashes but it was really hard because I've been away for so long and don't really know any of the team whereas I know all of the Aussie team as they are on the TV all the time.
I think I am the jinx for the Ashes as who ever I go for looses.
I have picked the loosing team every ashes for the last 24 years.

you felt sorry for the POMS  :o :o i was loving every minute of it. at 9 wickets down and over 30 runs still to get, there's no way we should have won that game  8) 8)

I'll say. Myself and 1000 others that left with 4overs to go can't believe Aussies won.

Awesome finish... I turned it off and went and washed my Prado when we were about 7/230.

Just jumped on my iPad and see we have won... I went to the Cricket Australia website and watched the last 2 overs.

There was no shame in that game, it was very close and could have gone either way.
Most Poms will be thinking at least we didn't get thrashed!

Yes that is some consolation but you know what they say, whether you win by an inch or a mile it is still a win. 10-0 is still alive :)

How to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Had friends over and were in the garage with the tv on in the back ground.  No one had taken much notice of the game until Faulkner hit 2 six's in a row to halve the run chase in the 2nd last over.

Reminded me of Micheal Bevan's effort back in 95 against the Windies.  Was sitting in Apollo Bay Hotel at the time and not many in the place were watching the game.  The last 2 overs however the whole place was glued to the TV cheering, awesome atmosphere.
