South Sydney star Angus Crichton has had a finger amputated to ensure he's ready for the 2018 NRL season.Crichton's manager David Rawlings confirmed the back-rower had had the middle finger on his left hand amputated, Fox Sports is reporting.Crichton earlier this week confirmed he had signed a three-year deal to join the Sydney Roosters from 2019.The 21-year-old had been told he needed more surgery on the digit, which would mean a three-month layoff.http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/league-news/nrl-2018-south-sydney-rabbitohs-star-angus-crichton-amputates-finger-20171221-h08nf6.html
