No 12V option on the cheap unit and would rather put $75 towards a proper compressor.

Not sure how an ARB compressor would go with the airbed if you could get adapter to suit...

Compressors are made for high pressure - I'd be using the coleman pump, probably inflates quicker.  In fact we have the old style 12v pump sitting around doing nothing since we moved to the CT, Swags and 4WD mats... Also had a 2m 12v curly extension to connect to the rear cig socket when pumping up. Looks a bit like this:

You can connect the inlet to the dune mats and it sucks the air out a bit too. Always worked well and can be used to get a stubborn fire going too  :)

We have the earlier version of it, have had no troubles over the years, thumbs up from us, pumps up a queen size air bed in a couple of minutes, good for the young ones inflatable boat .. come to think of it its still on the first set of batteries we put in it, must check to see if they are leaking ..

Not a full size compressor ya goose, just something that is at least 12V powered.

We've got a slightly older rechargeable one that works great. If it packs it in I'll buy another Coleman.

As suggested, an air compressor will be next to useless for pumping up an air mattress same as this pump would be no good for a footy.

I have one of these
18V ONE+ INFLATOR / DEFLATOR
http://www.ryobi.com.au/power-tools/products/details/18v-one-inflator-deflator
As i had some Ryobi one plus stuff
It works a treat at both inflating and deflating air mats two person kayak and will pump up a car tyre , have it on good authority that it will pop a bead on at normal size 4wd tyre of a full battery.

Just looking out side the square if you have the batteries for drills etc already

annoying how nobody has 'specs' on their gear anymore.. not even on the box of the Coleman one .. just went for a look down at Rays up the road from werk. :(
The oztrail one does.. just wanna compare apples with hemmys.

If I need to blow up an air mattress, I use one of these.
Will blow it up 3 times quicker then any of those 12v jobbies
