Also i looked at the cub trailers yesterday and wasnt to impressed it looked like it was 20 years old style wise and wasnt to happy with a few welds on the chassis

I had a similar perspective last year when I looked at campers...

Have a look at a Pioneer.  Excellent clearance, and solid. Hard floor has room for our 2 kids or you can zip on a kids tent down the track.
We think they look better than the Cubs,  bit more modern looking...
