2nd fridge

Time has come, after our last 2 week trip with one fridge (50Lt Ironman) we were convinced another fridge was needed. The fight over food v drinks was too much.

Bit the bullet & got an Engle Eclipse, very pleased with the performance, got down to 2'c very quickly,not as quiet as the Ironman but this will not be an issue.

Of course will now need another panel as a 140W panel & 2 100Amp batteries might struggle. Of course then a new controller etc etc etc....................

yep had a 60ltr trailblazer that was brilliant but wit 2 boys and the third one liking some amber bottles the room soon deteriotes, sold it and bought 2 40ltr evakools, (bout $400 difference in the end for extra 20ltrs and 2 x 5 yr warrenties)no probs now thats for sure.

Hi Tarapeeto,

Are you happy with your ironman fridge?

We were looking at these on weekend and were quite happy with price etc. They seem good value for money.

Just need feedback from people who own one.
