What on earth are they teaching our kids!
« on: August 16, 2014, 05:01:55 PM »
I was in a shopping centre today and found this atrocity!!

I can't believe the message it's sending our kids! It's teaching them,

1: it's ok to own a Volvo

2: it's ok to tow with a Volvo

3: it's ok to have a caravan with no off-road ability

What is the world coming to?  ;D

You funny man.  ;D

I've actually considered the X90 as a tow vehicle, but the Haldex 4x4 system is a bit lacking. Great for snow, but not true double differ capacity.

Apart from that, they are pretty good value second hand.

Yep, the van is shyte.

Might be a little bit off topic, but I think schools these days should have a course on effective use of 12v power systems. It should include what size wire to use, how many fuses per meter of cable and appliance connected. An understanding of current draw. Just sayin.... C

It won't be long before the Feds find out about it, rip the product from the shelves and ban it.
I can't believe this one slipped between the cracks, someone will lose their job over this one.

And that roof is fairly stuffed as well, seriously. I'm thinking of home schooling now.

In the first pic, the colour match on the door is a shocker.

Looks like someone stacked it in the toy dept. and its had a repair done by Volvo themselves.

Wicked sunroof on the trailer.

Funnily enough, there was a XC90 on the barge to Moreton Is. a couple of years ago & my mates & I were thinking "Uho!" but it went places where we thought it would never get & performed better than the Suzi Grande Vitara that was accompanying me, due to a lot more clearance. Quite an eye opener really so I can't hang Shit on the tug!
