Aluminium 'glue'?
« on: August 06, 2014, 08:35:18 PM »
G'day.  I just returned from a long trip on badly corrugated roads.  The camper Pioneer held up exceptionally well, except for a minor glitch with a latch receiving block coming away from its mounting.  The said block is used to secure the roll-out pantry when travelling.  I've tried a couple of metal bonding glues, but the block continues to come loose after a session on rough roads.

I'd rather not weld, bolt or rivett the block in place.

are there any glues suitable for aluminium?  I'm thinking of trying sikaflex or similar next time.

thanks

Devcon make some amazing products, that work incredibly well. It's not cheap, but it will work very effectively
