Shed companies in Vic
« on: July 28, 2014, 11:13:46 AM »
Just wondering if anyone has recently built a new shed with any companies in Victoria and if they can offer any good or bad advice on these.  I guess it can be from other states as well if it is a company that has outlets in Vic as well.   Something that you can store camper and vehicle in and still have a bit of room and a carport on the front is the sort of thing we are looking at.

I dealt with Safety Steel Structures, and have nothing good to say about them at all.
Delays bullShit and price.

I haven't heard of these guys in our area so it wasn't one that we have looked into yet but thanks that makes it easier and this way we can narrow down the companies we want to talk too.  It will be a little way off before we build one but getting some research done.

l have used Ranbuilt & found them very nice to deal with . Quality stuff in the kit & best of all when it was delivered l was told to check all steel . l found somebody had smacked holes it 4 sheets of wall steel .This was replaced with in 48 hours . Further l was told if l had any questions to call . Good Old Fashioned Survive , not the cheapest but very good kit .    :cup:

I built a Ranbuild shed about 8 years ago, 200 m2. The quality and service was great, must confess though, a relative has the franchise at Albury Wodonga and Wangaratta. We did do our homework first though and found the structure and quality to be fantastic. I'd build with them again.

Thanks Speewa and JPH it is a shame we didn't build one a few years back when lino6' work was still agents for them but weren't in a position to then.  The neighbour has built 2 I think with Eureka and I don't think he had problems with them

We went with Eureka to build our shed a few years ago.
They weren't the cheapest but they where helpful and the shed is all of good quality gear.

I've been looking at companies to build in violet town and have been recommended to telfords in shepparton by two different workmates.  Price is competitive but the structure seems to be of a higher quality.  ranbuilt were a little cheaper but I think I'll go with telfords

Thanks for that we would want 2 roller doors and probably smaller size shed but with carport on the front and a normal size door on the side, are you getting windows in yours?

no windows as it is basically a horse barn that would have the roller doors open when in use. I'm not a fan of  windows in sheds. too easy for cretins too look thru

That is what I wondered about too and don't like the thought of people being able to see in. The horses here don't have a shed but one of the paddocks they can get under the hay shed (no the hay isn't in there haha)

Try "best sheds"

even with the long delivery and relevant fee, their prices and quality are awesome...........
