Ok....... so I have dinged a few cars in my life.  SWMBO on the other hand has never had the joy of hearing that crunch of metal on metal.  She NEVER lets me forget that I have required the assistance of the Insurance company on numerous occasions since we have been married.  Even the panel beater is in on the joke.    Nothing too serious mind you, but it is still fodder for her glee >:D  but today.... oh my goodness .......the good lord looked down and said "My son you have been punished enough!!"

She reversed her car out of the carport at speed (nothing is slow) and ran straight into mine.   :cup:

Nothing too serious, new bumper and rear light on hers.  Mine needs a new door.

But this is just going to be the gift that keeps on giving and giving and giving..........

Revenge; they say, is best served cold. Don't overdo it too early, draw out the pain. Keep some "money" in the bank for future use, for when you really need it.

My advice comes free, of charge and obligation. On the other hand the divorce lawyers is not, on either front ...  ;D

Thruster

This is a funny story!!! I have a similar one only it's in reverse... my wife has a frequent shopper's card with a local panel beater and he too is in on the joke... that is until one day I reversed into a two foot high brick wall that came out at 90 degrees from another wall. I missed it totally and put a little tap into the bumper.

Well, she has enjoyed that one. Even when I took it into the panel beater the bloke asked, "how'd she do this one?" to which I replied she hit a wall! lol

Anyway, enjoy the turn of events but be cool man, it could come back to bite you!

Too true they get very suspicious in cases like this but in the end they coughed up for mine where I forgot that my wife had pulled up behind me and the boat

24 hours later and it is still hilarious.  She is being a great sport about it.  I don't think she would have been as chipper if it had been her good car and not just the little run around.

Anyway  insurance should be ok.  My car is a business vehicle in a company name and hers is personal.  It happened at our workshop and advice from the broker so far is that we will claim it on the personal car so it is only one lot of excess and after all she did it!!!

Gotta love that. ;D

I think the count in our house is like the soccer score the other day.....7-1 with my wife winning. Most have been in our drive, involving both our cars, a tradesmans ute who was working at our house, but the best was when she reversed into my work vehicle that was parked partly across our drive. In her defence though, I did park it partly across drive and with my work vehicle being an emergency services vehicle it was hard to see with all the reflective checker colours on it. On a positive note though, nothing has been hit whilst going forward.
