Westpac Survey SCAM
« on: April 14, 2014, 08:26:32 AM »
Hi Swaggers
Another fake bank scam to watch out for.
an e-mail from an address called survey@westpac.au titled "Question survey"

The message says:
"Westpac Bank will add $750 AUD credit to your account just for taking part in our question survey.
Only one suvery per card is allowed, if you own multiple cards you can run the survey again for each."

And then there's a link to go to that will likely suck all your personal information and then you will wonder why you're making a bunch of purchases in some foreign country.

The stupid thing is that if they simply made it $8.00 then they would x 1000 the number of hits..  Silly billies.

I regularly, at least once per fortnight, get the Westpac and also St George emails.

Just for a change of late I'm getting emails from lovely ladies who want to email me and maybe fiddle with my wobbly bits, oh and also drain my bank account.  They are too late the Nigerians got all my money years ago with their letter writing scams.

How people are still getting caught by these types of scams is beyond me.
