Well I for one live only a couple of km or so from the epi-centre and I did not know anything of it till asked about 3 hours later.

So much for a storm in a tea cup!

2.6 Richter is about the same effect as a doof-doof idiot driving past you with the bass turned up to maximum.

From the USGS website: "Earthquakes with magnitude of about 2.0 or less are usually called microearthquakes; they are not commonly felt by people and are generally recorded only on local seismographs."
Camping is great as long as the mattress is inner spring!
