Hi Mate, had the same on my white bar, but mine was less than six months old, was replaced with no questions asked.  Hope you get yours sorted

If ARB don't have an answer you could try cut and polish to remove the stains and then waxing the bar to seal it.

My old Land Rover bar did it but it took 10 years and a few beach trips to be noticeable. It was black though.

Mine did it on the prado i think where it has been chipped with a stone and the paint knocked off. I personally put it down as a occupational hazard and put some touch up paint on it

Mr Hilux, I had the same issue on a bar that was 4 months old, took it back to ARB and it was ripped off blasted back and 2 pac'd all within 2 days.. They said the bars should always be sealed in the seams and then painted.

Dave.

Mr Hilux my ARB white bar has rust along the edges and surface rust inside the bar . The paint is pretty thick so I'm surprised that the rust appeared .

I had the clear coat peeling off my Pajero bar after 6-7 months. Just tiny bits around stone chips but you could see where this was going long term. ARB HQ in NSW where pretty blasé about, till I carried on. Then they took the car for 3-4 days and repainted it. Retuned it repainted with a filthy car and a scratch and the bar fitted up Shite. Got it rectified and a month later clear coat started coming off that. Went mental got another bar and it refitted by a jimmy and Giles at  Mannell Motors who did the bar originally. All good after that with paint until some rust appeared in the seems inside about a year later I treated it and left it alone.

With the cruiser first thing I did was treat all inside the bar and seams with "Tectyl" (vavoline rust proofing agent) the seams should be sealed by ARB with a seam seleant like panel beaters use before painting .

If it's stained the paint go and see them, it's a premium product and we buy it for that reason and the support they give us.
Here for a good time, not a long time!

Jim

Take it back to ARB, we had the same issue with ours after 6 months.  They simply replaced the bar so we didn't have to wait too long the day it was changed over.

I gather it would be different the powder coat and paint had been knocked off / scraped etc.
