High lift jack and shovel holders.
« on: July 28, 2013, 12:27:18 PM »
Hello all,
I want a set of holders for my custom made cage for my 150 prado. I only paid $80 for the jack and $30 for the shovel both new. Does any one know of a good cheap one out. I do have a bender and guillotine at work so if someone has a simple way to make one I'm happy to give a go.

Shovel Holder,
A length of 50mm pvc pipe, 2x pipe brackets, 4x tech screws, 1x 50mmx 8mm gal bolt+washer, R Clip.

My HiLift Jack sits across in the back at the bottom of the Cargo barrier inside.
Might put it in the roof basket one.

i used to have those expensive rhino shovel holders (about $40 a pair) and managed to break a couple (low car paks....)

I used Quick Fists when i replaced them: http://www.quickfistclamps.com/

so much better and quicker. From memory they were about $20 for the pair

Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....
