Hope for Jimboomba camper trailers again!
« on: February 04, 2013, 03:37:07 PM »
After the Jimboomba camper trailer nightmare, some light at the end of the tunnel for us and others. We visited Rob Moore today and he has very kindly offered to help us finish off some of what we got out of the bust up of the company. He has started up the business again and has been kindly trying to sort out and help those who got stung and lost a lot of money. He himself lost a huge amount of money over this, but has selflessly offered help. I want everyone to support him as much as possible, as the product is very very good and classy, just unfortunate unscrupulous people got hold of the company and brought it into disrepute. He has class and integrity, so hopefully it will go ahead in leaps and bounds. Shows some people do care , and at least we have hope of actually getting a camper after waiting for years, and then being let down by sheer theft!

The ones that have no conscience like the owners that knew they were in trouble, that took money from customers the day before it closed, will get their karma hopefully, I have seen it happen and I hope it happens soon. Anyone that says they were sorry, is living in fairy land. They have no conscience and that is that. If they were in any way sorry, they would have tried to explain to people and tried to at least find ways of helping them. Also the canvas makers that got burnt by the company before it closed down. We also have had kind offers of help from one of them. Just hope this becomes a really successful company, to show those awful people that something good can come of something really bad.

At this stage he is Jimboomba trailers, but is still using the Jimboomba camper trailer logo I think  and has already had orders for trailers and is also supplying other places up in North QLD. He has a very busy work shop and lots of workers. A well run business that is for sure. Pity he ever sold it. I know it will work for him, as he has the backing of the community here in Jimboomba. Cannot wait to see the end result. Will photograph it and put it up on the site when it is all done. Will be a couple of months yet, but eventually it will get there.

Yes he is the original owner and designer. Hope it works out for him. He already has orders coming in. He also will distribute up North QLD, using other distributors. At least that is what I thought he said. Will know more when we get it all sorted out with the trailer. Nice guy, hope it really works out. He seems busy and it is a well run business in so many ways. The other when it was taken over by the WIllis's was very poorly run and customer care was almost non existent towards the end. The office was in chaos when ever we visited and never got any answers for our questions. THis guy is upfront and honest, it shows.

I was watching an old Camper Trailer Touring DVD on the weekend and it featured Terry on it and his Jimboomba Campers. I have to say he was less than flattering in his presentation efforts. He basically sat in a chair in his stubbies and just pointed to everything while Graham moved around the camper. Looked like a big bullfrog that was struggling to move. Had no enthusiasm for his product whatsoever. This was in late 2011 - so I can see why his business went arse up.

I also noticed they are still mentioned in an ad for the Aust Camper Trailer Guild too..... Comments about the quality of after sales service and guarantees blah blah drew a sarcastic smile.

Its posts like this that send the good guys broke.

With the original website that will stay until it is either taken down by the site owner or the term the hosting has been paid for runs out.

Cheers Pauly

Jimboomba Campers Trailers (It's All Good Off-Road) as many have heard fell into recievership hands last Nov (2012). As a result of the closure many customers were left in the dark about the future of the business.

The Jimboomba Camper Trailer product is a true, tried and tested Aluminium Camper that stands up to the Australian climate and has been built on the back of many years of development and research. This being said the former owner (prior to 'It's All Good Off-Road), Robert Moore enlisted the help of Joseph Plater, Owner/Director of Jimboomba Trailers and Fabrication Pty Ltd a company that holds a strong reputation for building, designing and manufacturing durable, tough commerical trailers in steel and aluminium for the Machinery and Hire Industry nationally. Together Robert and Joseph have brought back the company and re-launched under the name

Jimboomba Camper Trailers Australia Pty Ltd.
www.jimboombacampertrailers.com.au

They have re-launched the product under new management and in a new manufacturing facility (5 Paul Court, Jimboomba). As part of the re-launch we have expanded the sale of the product to a number of Camper Trailer Dealerships;

 AUSTYLE Camper and Trailers (Tony) 1/15 Logan River Road, Beenleigh QLD

 Ozzie Campers (Tim) Cnr Charles and Madden St, Townsville QLD

We are currently seeking a dealer in the Northern NSW area (contact us for more details)

We would like to express our sincerest apologies to any customer or consumer that was affected by the collapse of 'It's All Good Off-Road', and reiterate that the individuals involved with 'It's All Good Off-Road' have absolutely no connection to the new directors or company.
