Hi guys, looking at building a mini caravan, think t-van, and just wondering about rego in QLD for over 750kg.  Does an engineer have to look at it and so on, what's the deal? Hopefully someone who has built their own trailer can shed some light here for me.

Thanks all
Dan.

If the trailer is over 750kg aggregate trailer mass then you will have to have it inspected at an approved inspection station and have a safety certificate issued. Link here
