Caravan maker Jayco sued over off-road claims

An iconic Australian company is being sued over claims its products can tackle the rugged outback.

Jayco is not being sued because of their claims to be rugged off-Road, but because they advertise that there caravans are but immediately void your warranty if you take those vehicles anywhere that is not a recognised road.

Amazing how it's mainly the cheap tobacco shops that get torched.

There's a cheap tobacconist in Maclean, I walked past(9am) it the other day,  in the arcade on my way to the hardware store, there where kids, aged about 12/16 hanging around put the front.
The bloke who opened up the doors looked like a young Osama bin Laden.
He ushered them in, shut the doors.

I find it amusing that this 'Business' changes location regularly, depending on what premises are available.

We've lost control of or boarders. :(
Only one in 50, shipping containers are checked.

Sad to say, Trump has zero credibility as a world leader.
4.2L TD Toyota Troopy, (Clarke's Country Camper Trailer, softfloor.) sold it and bought a Avan Ray small poptop caravan.

Saw a terrific riposte to Trump leaving the G7 Meeting early.
Commentator said he left because he didn't understand a thing they were saying.

Let's just forget it was Trump and that he is President atm, BTW I'm not a fan of him.
American's past 5 presidents, were never going to allow Iran to have Nuclear weapons.
Even want tobe President's, have pushed for this.

BiL only left there on Tuesday, & was going crook about the grog rules - there is no cask wine at all, with limits of 1 bottle of spirits, 1 ctn of beer & 2 bottles of wine, & all expensive. So if you're visiting, stock up in Geraldton!

There's no Great Evil conspiracy against consumers within engineering, manufacturing and supply. Just the many tradeoffs incurred to satisfy diverse tastes, priorities and wallets. But first comes all the insatiable Gummint eggsperts, nanny-staters and usual suspects.

A court has determined three groups of Indigenous peoples can control access to parts of northwestern Victoria in a landmark native title decision.
The Federal Court has recognised the First Peoples of the Millewa-Mallee - the Latji Latji, Ngintait and Nyeri Nyeri peoples - as holding exclusive rights to the land.

It means anyone who is not a traditional owner must seek permission to enter parts of their country, in a first-of-its-kind decision in Victoria.

The decision, made on Friday, follows a 10-year legal battle and covers thousands of square kilometres in the northwest corner of the state stretching to the South Australian border.

It takes in an area that includes Mildura, follows the Murray River, stretches south along the Calder Highway, and west through the Murray-Sunset National Park.

Apex Park Sandbar, Kings Billabong Park and Murray-Sunset National Park - known for its famous pink lakes - are on a list of landmarks covered by the claim.

I think on the news they said that privately-held property and National Parks are not affected.
