Since it has the word 'swag' in the brand name, it's impossible to search for on here!

I'm keen to read through some peoples threads of owning one and their experiences. We put a deposit down a few weeks ago and get it in about 2 weeks time.

Yes I have a "swag raptor XF Poptop" great hybrid camper.
We have had a few minor problems and swag have been great to deal with.

I,m looking at the Kakadu model on a shortlist. I also would be interested to hear from owners.
Having lots of friends on farcebook is the same as having lots of money in monopoly...means absolutely nothing!!

I'm curious why you would go the Kakadu instead of the Kimberley? It's only $1000 more and you get a heap more space inside.

Dont need the extra bed....no point pulling it out and wasting time if I camp by myself 90% of the time.  Agree though...for an extra $100 its a good deal,...especially for a family.

Yeah, fair point. Not sure how much extra weight it adds either, but if you definitely don't need it, than it's not necessary. For an extra 4% of the ticket price, I just think it would be worth it for the extra space.
For us, with a child and a dog - it was a no brainer to not need to convert the couch to a bed every night!

have decided against one as the 1640 tare (more likely 1700 by the time accessories added) is just too much.  Add my boat, motor, camp gear etc.etc.....I,d be close to 2200kg....ridiculous for a camp trailer.  I,ll be looking at lighter models. Cheers.

Ha ha. I did end up getting the Swag Kimberley V3...and it weighs in at about 2,500kg without a boat on it.
