Hi everyone
New (we'll new to us) 2014 custom all Aussie built hard floor camper trailer owner😊
We pick it up next week
Just hoping I can get some advise on how to look after the dynaproof canvas
In the best way?
Very exited as it's our first camper, we've been looking for the perfect one for almost a year
So I want to make sure I treat it right 😊

Thanks

There should be a label on the canvas, a big one you can actually see.
Otherwise the person selling should explain.

Clean water NO chemicals brush dry stuff off with broom. Don't store damp.

Thanks, there wasn't anything  that I could see, but will run through it all with the seller

Make sure you put a tarp over the bed before you pack up.
There'll be a time when you have to pack up a wet camper.
Having a dry bed at the end of the day is a real blessing.

Nice to hear of your excitement of picking up your new (to you) camper.
When we bought ours we set it up - put the hose on it on the outside then a bucket and brush on the inside - and just used a soft brush to give it a clean as previous owners did some bush camping and it was a bit dusty..
If you start using chemicals on it you run the risk of compromising the canvas.
Even though not buying new - most aussie manufacturers would be helpful in giving you tips if you give them a call on how to care for the brand of canvas they use.

I was wondering whether we needed to season the canvas
It was only used a few times and the canvas looks almost brand new 😊
so not sure if they had any good downpours whilst out there with it
Very exited to pick it up in a few days and get out there exploring more
Definitely won't be using any chemicals on it

HI
Need to refer to canvas maker instructions ,but if all else fails follow the knowledgeable
Plenty of info on the net   Jayco has a cleaning Pdf
Most do not recommend to treat new canvas . How long do u wait 12mths ??
Use only the recommended dilution and cleaning products DONOT substitute ,  eg many bleaches are different strengths
