Very sorry for the loss of a quality life.

Thank you to the QPS for the job they do every day on our behalf.

Sincere condolences to Brett's family, friends and colleagues. A very sad thing to happen, and something that must go through every police officers' mind at some time or other.

Thanks to all the police who put their life on the line, every day, to help keep us safe. And thoughts to the officer/officers who shot the b*stard, it would be very difficult for them as well.

Many years ago I worked at Brisbane Traffic Branch with Brett's Dad.  My thoughts to all of Brett's family

Thank you all.

Brett's funeral is next Wednesday at 11am.  It will be huge, and painful.

The amount of flowers and cards arriving at the station is amazing.  The whole community is grieving.

Again today I had the opportunity to shake the hand of another mate who dragged Brett out of his rolled vehicle whilst under automatic fire.  I first shook his hand on Monday night and held a towel whilst he washed away Brett's blood.  There were many heroes that day.

We take a lot for granted, most only really think about what our police do at times like this.
To all the boys in blue, thank you. Without you the cockroaches of society would flourish.
KB I hope in time the pain will ease, and your fond memories of Brett flourish.

Condolences KB, and to his family/force in general :(. It's never a good thing when a loss like that happens - unfortunately have lost two cousins now to a$$$hole scumbags who would be better off as compost than in jail :(
We've swapped from the camper to a van yay! :)

Thanks again for the kind wishes.

Brett's family are slowly healing, although the process will take years, through the huge outpouring of sympathy from the community.

3rd time lucky

Police making collections at each station. All doing what they can, small though the recompense will seem, at least it may allay certain life pressures at the most awkward of times. My wife put ours in today.

After coming out of the bush yesterday and hearing of this tragedy and then today hearing Brett's wife was heckled by supporters of the POS makes my blood boil.

Condolences to you KB, and to Brett's family and his work mates. To those who stopped the POS from his murderous pursuit, thank you, I hope it doesn't take a toll.

To those heading off to work the TBL stay safe.
