If you need any help running the numbers or want someone to check over your numbers more than happy too help.
Thanks, I appreciate your offer greatly  :cup:

I have also been looking at and asking those that have dealt with the Rainbow Power Company, as Ed mentioned.
These guys are not far from us and they have a great rap from many users local to us.

as far as I m concerned there are too many companies pushing there products bending the numbers to favor said products
Which is really confusing to those like ourselves that have no idea whats right or wrong.

You don't use magic to disappear, all you need is a 4wd & a Swag ;)

If you only use 10KW (Total. this what you purchase from your retailer) per day on average for a year that's dam good mate. You must not need to rely on much electric heating or cooling?

That's about what we use - our last quarter was 10.39kWh average according to our bill - and that stays fairly constant through the year - with general power draw being ~4kWh per day whilst the balance is hot water. We only have electric, so no gas for cooking etc... and we're based in Armidale (not well known for being warm...) In fact our supply charge is ~45% of our bill...

With such a low usage I would suggest you look into only adding more solar

It might not be an option. Due to distance from the nearest transformer Ergon would only approve us for 3kW. We did a bit of a dodgy and put up 3.5kW, just so we could be sure of hitting the 3kW peak more regularly.

I wanted 5, but if a grid connection was to be maintained they wouldn't agree.
