True, but a hell of a lot warmer than a tent.
I was surprised how warm the swag is inside with the canvas, where as the hubs that attach to our 3x3 gazebo are great in summer.
You don't use magic to disappear, all you need is a 4wd & a Swag ;)

If you're looking for a swag which will become an heirloom, you can't go past a Murchison river swag.

I've got a single hoop double swag. Made by a friend's brother 18 years ago. 16 ounce canvas and a heavy pvc base. Brilliant for winter camping,  so warm.

Although these days when i go camping without the family I generally pack the Coleman 30 second tent along with the swag if there's a threat of rain.

Got 2 swags in the shed at moment... still take the Blackwolf...

had the swag out in snow and it was toasty warm inside - the flap was frozen when we got up in the morning LOL!

Another vote for Southern Cross. Had ours for about 18 months now and can't fault the quality. I fully expect to hand this one down. That said I have a couple of singles, one about 20 years old, can't tell you the Brand, the company may not even be in business now. I do know that I never spent the sort of money the SC cost and it is still doing the job just fine so I don't think you have to spend the earth to get something that will last.....as long as you look after it.
