Car detailer Brisbane
« on: May 21, 2015, 11:36:44 PM »
Anyone know of a decent car detailer in Brisbane at all?
Looking to get my Cruiser detailed before i trade it in as it hasn't been polished since i bought it 10 years ago...lol.
I'd probably prefer a mobile person but will consider taking it someone also. Don't want to spend a fortune on it as i'm getting rid of the vehicle, but i realise my vehicle needs a fair bit of attention to clean it up also.

I can lend you a good buffing machine if you want to give it a go yourself?

no thanks mate, it needs a clay bar put over it and then a polish, aswell as the inside is filthy also...hours and hours of work required. Would rather pay someone to do a proper job of it. Cheers anyhow.

As mentioned already, Voodoo has closed his shop and working as an employee making more money then he did working for himself. They only do their own caryard stuff where he is now, I spoke to him last week about it.

Hey John,
Ended up using the guys you mentioned and they came around and detailed my fourby today (rang Wednesday and got booking i wanted on Friday no dramas)....whilst the job wasn't perfect (there's a few places at the bottom underside of inside of the doors that were missed for instance and some red dirt stains still showing, but you need to crouch down and look under the doors to see it), for the $250 they charged me i'm not complaining (it should have been $290 actually they quoted me, but they buggered that up for some reason). The guy arrived at 7.30 a.m this morning and didn't finish working on it until nearly 2.00 p.m. I explained the condition of the vehicle to the office people when they quoted the job online and on the phone when i booked the vehicle in, and it made no differance in price to the job getting done, a shame they didn't warn the detailer though as he had no clue what he was in for...lol. The differance in look of vehicle before and after is chalk and cheese.... whilst it's not showroom condition (i doubt it could ever look that good without a complete strip back and respray job and replace some interior trim parts), i'm more then happy with the job the detailer has done it, he certainly earn't ever dollar he made today on my vehicle.  Prior to them touching the vehicle it hadn't been polished since 2005 and hasn't been detailed at all from any outback trips we've done in it, so you can imagine how much red dust was in the vents and under the seats etc, the vehicle was filthy on the inside and covered in bush pin stripping and the paint work dull as...now it shines like you wouldn't believe inside and out. I know i mentioned the job wasn't perfect but considering what he had to work with at the start of the morning, he's done a pretty good job of cleaning up a 13 year old vehicle.
 for the name of that company, i'd happily use them again
