Trip to Cape

I live in Atherton and plan to go to the Cape in September next year what has it coast for those people how have been there before.

A bit more info would help. The Cape is a big place. What are your destinations, how long are you going for, how many in your family group, do you need to buy anything for the trip or are you fully kitted out with batteries, solar, gennie, fridge etc.

Got camper light off road
Family of 4
Going to the tip of Australia and any other places of interest
Will have new  hilux
Will be done over school holidays about 2weeks

Approx cost would be between $1,000 to $1,500 depending on where you go, park fees, meals, souvenirs, alcohol ets.

Fuel will be your biggest expense, then beer. If you have a diesel and depending on your tank size the costs will be less.
