My choice of beer is Coopers Pale Ale, only stubbles, yeah the weight thing, and broken glass, I get that, but I do.
Later in the evening, I enjoy a JD, straight on Ice.
That's my usual at the end of the evening go to.
A American Honey is a nice drop around a camp fire,
Tonight Fysh and I tried American Honey, Sting, on ice.
Hmm
Yep,
Might be something to take next camp trip.

Oh, I've also got the Standard Squeeze, instead of glass bottles .
They are a winning.
Anyway, just throwing it out there to what you do.
Cheers

Standard squeeze  1ltr bottles as you get 100ml shots. One got kracken, another has Bundy, another has tawny. Currently not using coke cola, but kirk's pasito. Something different. Some bottles do come with us but that's only tawny

These days, I find myself sticking with wine, usually red with dinner, & white pre- & after-. Nothing but the best cleanskin Chateau de Cardboard though, dispensed into plastic bottles to go in the fridge easily! ;D

Usually have a bottle of Jamesons for sipping purposes, while Leafz has one of Dubliner, & also a 2l cask of port.

If we've gone away with others, then possibly beer.

Thanks for your posts guys,
We can get to the Lawrence Tavern now, Water has gone down enough.
So Friday dinner there, not that we do it every Friday arvo, maybe once a month.
They have on tap Coopers Low Carb, which I've tried at the Copmanhurst Pub, and the Park Hotel at Byron.
I enjoyed it.

Enjoy your weekend.

Start out on Hahn mid cans, progress to Cab Merlot and finish with Sheep Dog American Whisky Peanut Butter Liqueur, or sometimes Dubliner Irish Whisky & Honeycomb Liqueur. But not every night.
SWMBO has white wine usually and/or a variety of premixes and the odd Dubliner or three.
Soon off to Denham for 10 weeks of fishing, socialising and the above.

I just take my home brew beer, normally Coopers.

rossm

Mid strength beers while setting up camp and getting dinner.
Can't get too affected by alcohol till all the work is done. ;D
Then around  the fire a scotch whiskey of some brand. Port is ok too. It's  cheaper but you drink it twice as fast  :D
Cheers

I gave up drinking in April 2023 for 14 months straight. Lost 32kg in 9 months, so I guess it was worth it ;D
Camping was the biggest challenge - what do you drink sitting around the fire/campsite? Not fussed on soft drink these days.
Only good zero beer is the Guinness 0.0 - most of the rest are pretty awful. There are a few others that are tolerable.
So during that time, the preferred evening tipple was Guinness 0.0 or a hop water called HOPR. A couple other interesting non alc drinks I don't mind are Elixir & Dayse.

Still mostly off it, but do have the occasional drink now & then.
Kraken straight on ice is the rum of choice.
Preferred beer is some sort of pale ale eg 50 lashes.
Wine of choice would be any Pino Noir

Same but i do AG and keg my brews but always have enough for 6-12 750ml PET bottles for camping, occasionally bottle a full batch.
Also started using some 4ltr oxebar mini kegs which fit in 50ltr waeco and i have a mini co2 reg with sodastream bottle.

Was just discussing "alcohol free beer" with a mate, who though he'd try a few cans, and never managed to drink 1 complete can.. I think I'll hold off trying them too LOL

Homebrew dark Rum, Spiced Rum, Scotch, Bourbon. Beer I'm not tied to any particular brand, white and red wine, it just depends on what I feel like but I do like my Ports but I have two scales of Ports = guzzling and then good ones. De Bortoli 4ltr Premium Old is my go to guzzler and Hanwood 5yr and 10yr olds are common in my purchases but also Rutherglen Ports.

So long as you have tried your best, you should have no regrets.

How do you guys find the Standard Squeeze on longer trips?
Doesn't add any plasticky taste in the heat of a van/car?

I know what you mean!

A mate bought me a bottle for my 50th - it didn't last long! ;D

For any of you that haven't tried it, imagine drinking a Violet Crumble bar ;D

Only just started to use them, easy to pack.
We take about 4/5 different mixes, can't taste any different, that we've noticed.

I bought some 2.5l bottles, not from this seller but the same bottle.https://kegland.com.au/products/kegland-amber-pet-bottles-2-5l-pack-of-9-with-screw-caps

I use the 750ml coopers PET bottles for my keg overflow and the 4/8ltr oxebars from Kegland.
I also have a big stubby holder for a 19 ltr Cornelius keg.
