have stayed there about 4 years back...it's a nice enough spot, located right beside the river which you can walk straight into from the van park to swim in if you so want to (though would be a touch fresh this time of year i'd say). I can't recall exactly what the facilities were like and not sure how busy it gets with the rodeo going on, it's nothing overly flash but it also wasn't a dump either, i can't recall disliking the place at all.

Stayed there a few weeks ago, really nice spot and old mate that runs the place is nice enough though very casual.
Two amenity blocks next to each other, the older one a bit run down. I have a van so didn't use these much.
Fires are allowed and they sell wood on site $25 but it might be cheaper across the road (look for the sign).
Powered and unpowered sites. They have a few permanents around but isn't too bad at present though they might want to keep an eye on that so that it keeps the family feel.
Easy walk to the pub and cafe and other shops.
When is the rodeo on?

If you have a kayak or canoe throw it in, some. Ice paddling there. They also hire kayaks.

Eumundi markets on Saturday only 1/2 hour drive, Borumba dam not far out of town otherwise plenty of peace and quiet.

I have been looking for a block up that way for the right price but so far none of my bids have been on the money...

We found it a lovely little spot. Easy access and yes fires are allowed. Some good tracks around the area and done epic ice cream awaits you at Kenilworth if that is on the agenda.

Enjoy.

there's a nice drive that goes over Mt Buggery (you turn off the bitumin just before getting to the dam) bringing you out at the entrance to LCMP on the Kilcoy - Murgon rd, from there head down to the Jimna fire tower and then cut through the forest to Charlie Morlands camp ground and onto Kenilworth, then a bitumin run back to Imbil.
