Positive feedback in regards to Offroad 4WD at Burleigh Heads

Hi All,

I just wanted to share my experience with Tim at www.offroad4wd.com.au.  I have to honest and admit I never knew this company existed until I saw a Showroom thread on this forum in regards to some show specials they were offering.

I've been playing with the idea of buying a winch for a couple of months and have slowly been doing some research into process and different brands.

To be honest apart from my conversation with Tim, I was pretty disappointed with the lack of product knowledge from these other companies as they were struggling to answer my questions and most importantly I didn't have faith in the answers they gave. (This comment didn't apply to TJM or ARB)

During my conversation with Tim he was very upfront with the fact that the winch he was recommending wasn't currently in stock. Unlike other companies, Tim didn't try pushing a smaller winch just because they were in stock. 

When the winches were in stock Tim, phoned to advise the Distributor is in the process of couriering it out to me. I have to be honest and say this is where things started going pear-shaped, but it's the courier company which gave me the run around (I think one of the drivers was hoping no one would miss a winch) 

I always believe you can tell how good a company is by the service you get when things aren't going to plan and Tim did exceptionally well as wasn't afraid to return my calls and discuss my concerns.

So apart from buying the winch at a very competitive rate, Tim proved his company provides exceptional customer service and I wouldn't hesitate in using his company again.
