Hi All,

I'm looking to purchase a jayco dove outback and i'm trying to find what the rrp would be to help with negotiations. Does anyone know or anyone purchased one recently that could advise what kind of price would be a good deal?

Thanks for the help!

Fly Fisher

Mrpatato,

We bought our 2013 Dove outback brand new from Bayswater jayco, we paid $27k but the list of extras was extensive. I'm pretty sure the standard outback at the time was around 23-24k. I have no idea on the current 2014 pricing.

With the extras we got added on I think the RRP was close to 30-31k so we knocked a few grand off.

Thanks for the reply Fly Fisher, i've been quoted 26K including awning bag & walls, bag flies, solar 120w with regulator and starter pack with hoses, power leads and wheel chocks. Did you get a lot more extras compared to this?

Fly Fisher

The extras we got were

Simplicity independent suspension (not standard on the 2013 outback model)
Extended drawbar
Treg offroad coupling
Second water tank
Water tank level gauges
Waeco fridge in lieu of the Thetford
Roof mounted Air conditioning
Wind up roof mounted antenna
16 inch wheels in lieu of 15 inch
Second gas bottle fitted and plumbed in

I think that was about it

Why don't you ring up a dealer and ask?

MrPotato

Hi Jenko,

I've spoken to 3 different dealers and all are just interested in giving pricing based on options i want and don't want to say what the rrp is or what the price of each option is to be able to work it out. I'd be happy to buy at the price i've been able to get down to and was just looking to see whether anyone else was able to get a better deal.

Thanks
