Vic Fire Extream

With the high temps we are sitting on a tinder box  just waiting for the serine to go off .
Please be very careful out there as there is no 2nd prize in a wild fire .
With the exception of Gippsland it Total Fire Ban across the state . This is following a Spring of good rains & huge growth , the like of which we haven't seen for many years . Drought is slowly being forgotten as we return to better growth . More fuel to burn .

First strike teams for the season organized and ready. I don't have a good feeling about this season. People have forgotten what a fast moving grass fire can do.

As long as the fire ground controller is on the ball , strike teams will be best used . Geee theres a lot of grass out there now & its so dry

We just took possession of our new block in violet town.  Hasn't been grazed for 2 months.  I hope nothing goes through there.
