Underbody car wash in Melbourne?
« on: November 14, 2013, 03:42:58 PM »
Does anyone know of any underbody caswashes in Melbourne, preferably in the eastern suburbs?
I'm thinking along the lines of something similar to the one at Rainbow Beach.
Google search brings up bugger all.
Cheers
Matt

I used to just use shiners and get under myself.

Now do it at home with the karcher and wear some old clothes.

Same, up on wheel ramps with the karcher. Problem is the karcher sh1t itself last weekend, and the old finger on the hose trick just doesn't cut it! Could just use the garden nozzle I spose, but i like to give it a good blast every now and then.

Those under car washes like the ones at Gympie and Rainbow rant very effective. Waste of money really.

Best is to crawl under yourself and get dirty and wet to ensure a clean and rust free chassis.

Park it over a sprinkler & turn it on  ;D lf you go down to the park in the middle of the night all the dirt will be left in the grass & not at your place .                   Well some might do that

The Noosa Northshore one blows Shit loads of sand out from under mine, but I still get under with the guerney (that bloody broke last week  >:( ) and give it a final tidy up.

One of those sprinklerrs that crawl along the hose are the most effective of the lazy methods of ub cleaning. Give it a couple of hours on the grass and you should be a fair bit cleaner.

That'll be $200 of water consumption down here :)

Yeah, the only way seems to be the hard way.
Hose/karcher on ya hands and knees.

Left a ton of Trial Harbour sand on my driveway during the week.   With all the rain we're having at the moment, that'll be gone in no time (hopefully by the time I get back after this weekend's trip).

Unbelievable!

No rain over weekend.  The sand's still there.
That plan backfired!
