Repairs to fly mesh in Jayco ???
« on: October 23, 2013, 03:55:42 PM »
Our dear Hawk - now 4.5 years old has seen many miles of travel.

Sadly we are starting to get a few little holes in the fly mesh and more crop up ever time we use it.
I have been trying to contact shade and shelter to get it fixed, but they are soooooooooooooo busy its unbelievable.

Does anyone know of a place in Sh1tney  Sydney where I can get it fixed.
I was hoping to have the old mesh removed and new ones sewn in.
I realise its a big job and may cost a bit, but we aren't asking for cheap, just someone to do the job.

All suggestions or help appreciated.

Cheers
Brian

Yeah that is Shade n Shelter at Blacktown . They made new bags for my fly ends and I was amazed how cheap they were but dont be in a hurry. Always got heaps of campers in the driveway whenever I go past

You could try The Little Trimmer at Castle Hill. Has been there for ever and does good work but remember you did say you weren't worried about cheap

Thanks guys, it appears shade and shelter (as good as they are - I have used them a few times before) are a tad busy right now and show no signs of slowing up......

I'll give the trimmers a call and see what happens.
Failing that it may be a full replacement job or time to trade it in.............. :'(
(Although that could mean a new one or an expanda!!!  >:D

Cheers
