Kogan have reportedly saved the deal, for now at least.

Mate if you would like an Aldi sim, PM me and I'll pick you one up tomorrow and put it in and envelope to an address of your choice.
My son just got one today, we gave him the KM yearly plan for his last birthday in March so we will try the Aldi for now.

Thanks to markg66 we picked up his posted Aldi sim addressed to cara park in Geraldton yesterday and would you believe it the porting over from Koganmobile to Aldi went without hitch online in a couple of hours just after an SMS from Telstra warning the missus had 7 days to move to another carrier and restricted use. Had paid up the 12months with KM so apparently that meant notice of cutoff was later than lesser period purchasers, but all would be cutoff over the month. Now we'll see how quick KM refund unused credit.

Thanks to markg66 for his generosity and effort here and since he's adamant he doesn't want reimbursing for any out of pocket I'll donate a further $15 to Myswag on his behalf for the benefit of all.

Am I missing something here or has the Paypal donate button gone walkabout?

I signed up with Kogan, initially for a month to see how it went, then ported my number over and went the 12 months. I've now ported over to Aldi ( had my son in Brisbane buy me a sim and post it over ), been changed about a month. Just received an email from Kogan saying my refund was on it's way. Getting $271.15 out of $299 so pretty happy with that :)
