Simmo desert route
« on: March 25, 2014, 10:34:22 AM »

 Hi all

After meeting at Inaminka are we going to Birdsville via Walkers crossing (if open) have roughly worked out that from   Birdsville to Mt.Dare is around 600kms and the return trip 800kms  with only 75 useable ltrs in the tank will have to carry around 100ltrs to be on the safe side, fuel consumption worked out at a 50 percent increase in use.

Mauri.

Now that I am unable to attend this trip, I would appreciate it if you could not mention it anymore :(
